About Us

The Islip-Smithtown Branch of the NAACP is an official chartered unit of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Founded in 1958, the Islip-Smithtown Branch has a rich history of human and civil rights advocacy. Our leadership team is dedicated to welcoming all community members that support the advancement for all people, including people of color. We are steadfast in pursuing our organization's mission through our programming and our advocacy!
